Mila
Mila is 11 years old and dances with Scenic City Dance in Tennessee. She has been dancing since she was two, and favorite genres are ballet, lyrical, and contemporary modern… but then there’s jazz, musical theater, and tap - it’s so hard to choose! Mila’s favorite thing about dance is going to conventions to compete and train with friends while making new friends. Mila’s proudest accomplishment was her first YAGP regionals in Miami, where she placed bronze in classical ballet, Top-12 contemporary, and was invited to the prestigious YAGP World Finals 2023. Other accolades include being named NYCDA Outstanding Dancer winner in Nashville, TN, as well as NYCDA Top 25 National OD 2023 as a first-year junior. Mila has had numerous regional first places and holds a Junior Elite Soloist Title at Starquest Nationals 2023.
When she is not dancing, Mila is an avid visual artist. She auditioned and started middle school at a performing arts school as a Visual Arts major. Mila fell in love with SimplyBE and BEcollective all at once at a model call. The clothing, brand, and team represented everything she wanted to be a part of the dance industry. She is honored to BE a part of BEcollective!
